Refferral network with insurers?

im starting a business for car and bike body repairs that sort of thing and dont know how exactly to approach insurers to try get work from them! any ideas?

The big boys tend to have their preferred local bodyshops. It may be worth trying to build relationships with local insurance brokers etc. One way to do this is to join a local business networking group such as BNI. They have visitor mornings every so often and you can go along to see whether the people in the group are the sort that you'd like to get to know so that they can refer you to their networks. They'll be looking for referrals from your network, too!

If you're in the UK, speak to your local Business Link. They offer a lot of free help and advice on starting up and marketing. They also run networking events, some of which are free.
