Resolved Question
Cash in Hand work.....?
Hey,
I'm Matt, I've just turned 20 :)
Im an electrical engineering apprentice and, i'm not going to hold back, I earn at the moment £14,000 a year.
There is a job for me when I come out of my time in about 8 months time which will be at £26,000.
At the moment I have alot of free time between the shifts I work and I thought it would be a good idea to put it to some use and try and earn some more money.
Only thing is, i'm stuck for ideas ..... I'm good with my hands, I can solder, wire (to industry level / standard)..... I can labour, I have a license and a car so I can drive...... I have done a bit of pest control before also........
It would be a great help for some idead on how I can put these together to try and make a small income.....nothing serious, just to help out....
Thanks in advance :D

I have a regular part-time job, but I get paid to drive people to the Airport. All I did was make business cards, and pass them around to people I came in contact with. I always ask for references from my "customers" (basically friends of people that liked the service they got from me), so I always have regular side work. Depending on how many people you juggle, it shouldn't take too much time out of your hands, but it'll take enough to where you can get some pretty good money on the side. I know this isn't really in your area of expertise, but I'm just throwing it out there. I'm 20 too btw.

- You have some good skills to share. If I were you, I would go to a couple of local contractors and let them know you'd like to help with any overflow work on a part time, call me when you need me, kind of basis.
Another thing you can do is simply ask in your neighbourhood to see if anyone has odd jobs they need help with. - or put an advert in a local shop window or newspaper.
