Hi, I have just moved to UK, I am in the IT sector looking for freelance contract deals. What are the sites can I find such posting. I have found gumtree but it's primarily for job seekers.

You should have a look at freelance sites such as getafreelancer. With your skills you should have no problems getting orders. also internet marketing forums - you can post a thread with your services there and people can contact you there as well.

- You could try http://www.jobserve.com just look for £ per hour jobs rather than salaried.
Most IT contracts in the UK go through recruitment agencies but there are lots of specialist IT recruitment agencies around.
If it's true freelance work you're after then try http://www.scriptlance.com/
